08 August 2010 marked the beginning of the 35th Oblate General Chapter in Rome. This year's theme for the chapter is conversion. We pray as a congregation for the spirit of personal and communal conversion

This is the official website of St. Joseph's Scholasticate, home to the Oblate scholastics studying at St Joseph's Theological Institute. The Oblates in Africa, through the grace of God, have experienced over the years a growth in vocations. This year there are 57 scholastics in the community. The community is international with scholastics coming from 6 provinces, 1 delegation and 2 missions all from Africa. A number of brothers joined the community this year, 13 from regency, 6 professed their first vows at Johannesburg Novitiate, 1 from the Scholasticate in Cameroon.
